Dr. Ryan Van Lieshout

Dr. Ryan Van Lieshout is a psychiatrist clinician-scientist and a Professor at McMaster University’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences. He is the Albert Einstein/Irving Zucker Chair in Neuroscience, Canada Research Chair in the Perinatal Programming of Mental Disorders, and a Member of the Royal Society of Canada. His interests lie in the development and testing interventions for perinatal mental health problems in mothers and birthing parents.
