Working Together to Support Autistic Women's Mental Health
Dr. Ami Tint
Dr. Ami Tint is a registered psychologist and Azrieli Accelerator Assistant Professor in Neurodiversity and Intersectionality in the Department of Psychology at the University of Calgary. Dr. Tint’s research uses multiple methods to understand how to improve supports and services for people with neurodevelopmental conditions, with a particular focus on the mental health needs of Autistic girls and women. She studies program development and evaluation with the aim of improving equitable access to care for neurodivergent people. Dr. Tint strives to achieve meaningful community partnerships and engages in coproduced research to inform clinical practice. Her research is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, and the womenmind Foundation.
