Sex and Gender Multidimensionality and Validity in Health

 

Dr. Greta Bauer

Dr. Greta Bauer is Professor and Director of the Institute for Sexual and Gender Health at the University of Minnesota Medical School, and an Adjunct Research Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University. As a social epidemiologist, Dr. Bauer brings a strong public health focus to her work. Her primary research interests are in social marginalization and health, particularly as related to sexual and gender minority communities, and in quantitative research methodology for studying communities that experience marginalization.
